The Only Way is Thailand – #TOWIEThailand
If you’re a fan of the hit reality TV show The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) and fancy following in the footsteps of your favourite celebrity cast, read on to find out where they stayed and played in Koh Samui while filming Series 24.
The Only Way is Thailand this year for the Essex based cast of award-winning, popular reality ITV show The Only Way is Essex. The much-loved cast of TOWIE, plus one newcomer, travelled to the stunning island of Koh Samui between 5– 13 March 2019 to film two amazing episodes for series 24, hitting TV screens on 17 March 2019 (9pm, ITVBe).
In a bid to add even more glamour to the show the cast ditched their usual European trip for a tropical twist and a more grown-up vibe this year. Popular stars such as
They enjoyed the islands beautiful beaches and a boat trip to the beautiful tiny island of Koh Tan……massages and plenty of delicious local food too.
Some explored the islands jungle interior on a 4×4 adventure while others fulfilled lifelong dreams of meeting Asia’s gentle giants at the island’s new elephant welfare centre, Samui Elephant Sanctuary, a haven for retired elephants.
…while others took in island culture at Wat Plai Leam or cooled off at Na Mueang waterfall
A TOWIE trip isn’t complete without a party, obvs, and the cast made the most of the island’s cool beach clubs too – think cocktails in cabana’s under casuarinas. Heaven. With many of the crew were spotted at Chi Beach Bar Samui and Nikki beach
The cast travelled to Thailand with EVA Air from London Heathrow to Bangkok. EVA has great value fares per person starting from £484 economy, £892 premium economy and £2,242 business class. To get to Koh Samui they took a short 1-hour flight from Bangkok to Koh Samui with Bangkok Airways, Asia’s Boutique Airline which offers free seat selection, free 20kgs baggage allowance, complimentary access to the Boutique Lounge pre-flight and an in-flight meal.
